Maldon District has a rich heritage that evolved over many centuries, a fact which is reflected in the large number of visitor attractions in and around Maldon.

To promote the attractions and increase visitor numbers to the area, Maldon District Council commissioned Pan 3Sixty to produced a Virtual Tour micro-site incorporating 360º panoramic views from around the district. The virtual tour includes no fewer than six museums, historic buildings, a church, beauty spots and even a Thames Barge, one of only a handful still afloat.
